Modernist Textile Design Created in 1949 sees the Light of Day

Nearly 70 years after it was designed, Avis Higgs' 'Heart of the Bush' has been printed onto fabric. 

It has been printed as a short run on a trial basis. Chairs have been covered by Living Room (www.livingroom.co.nz) and look fantastic.
